Philippines Now Offers 14-Day Visa-Free Entry for Indian Nationals!

Exciting news for all of you! If you want to explore the Philippines or if your children are studying there, now is the perfect time to surprise them with a visit. The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai has updated its visa policy for all Indian nationals. It offers Indians a 14-day visa-free entry to the Philippines. Travellers can enjoy this short-term stay for tourism purposes, and you can enjoy it without needing a visa. However, certain terms and conditions apply. And if you meet those criteria, you can enjoy this visa-free offer. Here is everything you need to know about it, as stated exactly by the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai:

14-Day Visa-Free Entry

Indian nationals may avail of the 14-Day Visa-Free Entry from any Philippine port of entry (major international airports and secondary international hubs, as well as in seaports by passengers on board cruise ships/vessels) if the following conditions are met:

  1. The visit does not exceed fourteen (14) days.
  2. The purpose of visit is strictly for tourism only.
  3. The person has no derogatory record with the Bureau of Immigration.
  4. Transit passengers holding visas to a destination beyond the Philippines are required to apply for or hold Philippine transit visas.

Please note that the visa-free entry will not be extended by the Bureau of Immigration and will not be convertible to other Philippine visa categories.

The following documents shall be presented at the Philippine port of entry:

  1. Passport valid for at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated stay.
  2. Confirmed hotel accommodation/booking.
  3. Proof of financial capacity (i.e. bank statement, certificate of employment, among others); and
  4. Return or onward ticket to the next country of destination.

By ensuring that you meet all the requirements mentioned above, you are eligible to explore the Philippines without a visa for a short time. You have to be aware that you cannot extend the visa under this scheme, and thus, plan your trip accordingly.
